Early on Saturday, the 9th of January, about an hour before sunrise, gazing into the eastern sky, just a little to the south, will be rewarded by a bright celestial sight. The planets, Venus and Saturn, will be very close to each other and to Earth, so they will be unusually bright. They will be in conjunction, like two lovers preparing for St. Valentine's Day. The two will remain visible for a few days. I hope you get to see it, another wonder of the amazing universe in which we live.
Enjoy!
