WHO IS CHARLIE NORMAN?
FORTY-FOUR YEARS AGO CHARLIE NORMAN WAS CONVICTED OF A CRIME HE DID NOT COMMIT. Today, he is a prisoner at Okeechobee C.I. in Okeechobee, Florida. He continues to be a target for harassment due to his insistence on exercising his legal rights to defend his First Amendment rights to free speech.

Charles Norman has led a highly accomplished life while in prison. He's won multiple national writing awards, mentored countless of his fellow inmates and is a nationally recognized author and artist. He developed and taught computer skills, organized criminal justice seminars, and studied graphic arts and printing. This is an incredible feat given the repressive nature of prison life!
